Kids Corner Gets a New Website

There’s something new at KidsCorner.net. In fact, it is a new KidsCorner.net. Senior Producer Ron VandenBurg has led a year-long project to build a whole new Kids Corner experience for your family. Now families can more easily tap into the fun and resources Kids Corner has to offer: in addition to all the zaniness and drama of Liz and his pals in the reptilian town of Terrene, Kids Corner features over 35 dramatized Bible stories and loads of crafts, activities, and songs. All of these resources are literally at your fingertips on this new mobile-friendly site.

Visitors to the new KidsCorner.net will find clear navigation to the Terrene episodes, the Bible stories, and the activities. Select “Terrene Episodes” to hear the latest episodes and meet the cast of characters like Liz, Chamy, Morrie, and Skink. You can search episodes by discipleship topics like Creating Beauty, Loving My Neighbor, and Doing What’s Right. Listeners can also enjoy all 265+ Terrene stories IN ORDER! That’s a lot of listening, giggling, and learning.

Until now the audio Bible stories were one of Kids Corner’s best kept secrets. Yet, thousands of families found them simply by searching Google. These stories cover the whole breadth of Scripture and include stories about less-known biblical characters such as Deborah, Lydia, and Dorcas. Now, they’re easier to find and enjoy than ever. And like the Terrene episodes, listeners will find the stories organized by topics like The Story Begins, God Calls His People, and Jesus The Savior, all listed in biblical order.

Kids checking out KidsCorner.net will find a familiar layout. We intentionally built in an intuitive, Netflix-style organization. “Because most kids already know how to work Netflix on a tablet,” says Justin Sterenberg, Digital Media Director at ReFrame Media, “they will now be more at home on the new Kids Corner website. Yet, the experience will still be distinct from many other Christian kids’ media websites because Kids Corner content is totally free and can be accessed immediately.”

The new KidsCorner.net will be an organic, growing website and will soon include even more resources. Parents and kids can expect a brand new interactive, online Bible study in the near future that will walk children through God's story from Genesis to Revelation. Kids will earn achievements as they work along. Kids Corner is also experimenting with other new content, including a children’s daily devotional, video digests, and skits. We hope to start sharing these with kids and parents very soon.

Why not take a moment and explore the new KidsCorner.net right now?
